I doubt if any action will be taken as that kind of activity is not part of the Home Office targets for our police or immigration people. Not in targets? don't want to know.

Being a prostitute isn't a crime (soliciting, pimping and running a brothel are) so they wouldn't investigate that.
Illegal immigration is the Home Office.
Missing persons they are not really interested in if the don't suspect foul play or a crime.

Hello,
(ANS) illegal immigrants, or people who have come into the UK without contact with the Border & immigration agency staff (border control like at airports, train stations, or ferry terminals). Such people come under the interest of the Home Office this includes economic migrants & asylum seekers or anyone who doesn't have any ID or real passport, etc.
**If found such people are often deported back to their country of origin or the last country they came from before entering the UK.
**People who have been the victims of people trafficker's such as young girls brought into the UK for the sex industry are treated differently, usually by Interpol or special police units. There circumstances are assessed on an individual basis so sometimes they are given special leave to stay in the UK.
**Missing persons is dealt with by the police & Interpol.
**UK laws on Prostitution are draconian in the UK and in desperate need of being brought into the 21st century. However, the exchange of money for sexual services is not a criminal offense as such. The police are most of the time not so interested in sex workers but only in the problems that might cause on the streets & the associated crimes i.e. drug taking & illegal drug trade which is a very common aspect of prostitution. Many working girls have drug habits its extremely common.
